Upgrading My Truck with Projector Headlights

There are a lot of aftermarket automotive products that you could add to your car. I have to admit that I have added a few items over the years, including stuff like window tint (a must if you live in Texas), and even some rain guards, which are handy for those days when I just want to crack the window a bit or even if I’m going to park the car and crack the windows when it’s over 100 degrees out.

But one of those must-have items, besides those I’ve mentioned, are actually the headlights. Let me explain.

Here where I live, which is in a rural area, there are a lot of varmints and even coyotes and deer that love to hang out near roads at night. We even have wild hogs that will run out in front of your car at night if you’re not careful. You have to have some great headlights when you’re driving at night here in Texas.

That’s where something like projector headlights come in handy. Add some projector headlights to your vehicle and you’ll be in business–to see anything that might run out in front of you at night. Not only are they functional, but they definitely look good.

Let’s take, for example, Spyder Projector Headlights. They’re available with Halo, LED and Day Time Running Light configurations, so there are some different options. Spyder Projector Headlights come in clear, black, smoke and chrome, depending on how you want them to look on your car or truck. This is a paid review for projector headlights, by the way. The ones that I chose to purchase are direct, bolt on, plug and play projector headlights. They say that they have everything I need to install them. So, when I actually get them, I’ll let you know how they work out and how they look.
