OK, so I’ve decided to sell my 2003 Toyota Tundra. It’s an extended cab, two wheel drive, 4.6 liter V8, and it’s been a great truck for me; it’s in great condition considering I’ve driven it 97,000 miles since new (I bought it in 2004 and drove it daily to/from work).
The Toyota Tundra is a great truck. Our plan was to drive it at least 200,000 miles and it’s fully capable of that. In fact, I actually just bought 4 new tires for it about a month or two ago. But, since the baby, we’ve decided that it’s too small.
Go figure–at a time where people are trying to get out of big SUVs because of gas prices and trying to save at the pump, we’re trying to actually get a larger vehicle. So, I suspect that we can probably get a pretty good deal on a full sized truck. But, at the same time, we’re wanting to trade this Toyota Tundra, so we’re probably not going to be able to get a lot for it even though it’s not the biggest truck you can buy right now. I previously downgraded from a Ford F150 to this truck and now need to upgrade to a larger vehicle now.
So, if you’re interested in getting a truck that gets at least 19 miles per gallon or maybe more then let me know. I’ll be posting it soon on Craig’s List and will definitely make a page here on the site that has all the info. I’m asking about $13,000 for it for now.
